There is a pretty blatant line on what is referencing and what is flat out copying/tracing. 
This person is standing on it. 

I’ve done an overlay —
and they don’t match up exactly but still… good lord. 
They didn’t even ask, that’s the main thing. Or even mention my work which yes… they blatantly copied. It wouldn’t be an issue if they’d of asked to REFERENCE and hadn’t like copied every bit of it line for line (spare for a few minor edits). 


*sigh* Here’s hoping they respond to my message politely since I was polite.

even the lineart details of the fur are the exact same. I didn’t even need the overlay to see that

Is tracing over things like this okay ? I start making my own transformation by tracing over this, then I suddenly start thinking : Is what I am doing okay ?

“Tracing” is okay for private practice. However calling it your own work is illegal and therefor “not okay”.
