Whatever it was, do you think he’s trying to redeem himself in a way? Like, he punishes those who sin, those who are with tarnished hearts, those who committed a crime and deserve punishment in the afterlife. He punishes them, right? What if he’s trying to become what he once was before he did the thing that made him evil?
