A small theory

So, now that we’ve seen two other Pearls in the show, I was wondering what exactly made the Pearl of the Crystal Gems ‘defective’ as Jasper said. The only major difference I see at first glance is gem placement. Both the Yellow and Blue Pearl have their gems in their chests, while Pearl has hers on her head. But then, it dawned upon me. 

Were those Pearls given to the Diamonds because they share gem placement? Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond, and their respective Pearls all share gems on their chest. 

Then, I began to realize. Pearl’s white skin. Normal for a Pearl, since common Pearls are usually white in appearance. But, the Yellow and Blue Pearls had colors resembling their diamonds. Then, if you take gem placement into consideraton, well…. There’s only once place to look. 

Did Pearl perhaps work under White Diamond at first? And upon meeting Rose Quartz, decided to change her loyalty and went rogue? 

Probably not but hey it’s a thought lol.

If your only incentive for being friends with anyone is exploiting them for material benefit, then you gotta ease up that sphincter of yours buddy cause otherwise you’ll have trouble getting your head out of your ass

If anyone becomes friends with an artist only for the sake of getting free art, they’re literally a horrible person. 
That’s called ‘exploitation’ and it’s not a healthy basis for a relationship of any kind. 
If your favourite artist doesn’t do free art, get over it.
There’s usually a reason they don’t do free art — So get your head out of your bum and realize the world doesn’t revolve around what you want. 
They have bills to pay, they got to eat, and they have lives that take money to live. Many earn a living with their art so some little a-hole like you whose only interested in getting close to them to use them is going to waste their precious time with a lie. 
I hope you’re proud, anon. I really do. 
That kind of attitude will get you a very lonely life as it will spread if not changed now. 
You become friends with someone for who they are, or for a mutual common interest. Not because they do something you like and you want to take that from them for as little resistance as possible on their part.
Grow up. 

If anyone tries to befriend an artist for art, then they’re not friends but fucking cheap asses that don’t have any dignity.

Most artists I see who don’t do free art have it that way because there are so many requests being made that it can get overwhelming. We’re not a printer that magics art when demanded. We have a life too.
