Calling bullshit. I was raised to be polite and respectful to cops- specifically that I should never give them a reason to arrest me- and I’m a white person. Who even made this video?

Probably minority groups or a fraction of the majority who legitimately care. The problem is, despite you being raised as you are, your skin color and gender matters in society. If you have dark skin such that of a Latino or a “Black” person(gods I hate coloured terms), then it’s a whole different story.

Minority groups were always the lesser groups since before the colonial era. That mind set has stayed in the subconscious of a lot of people who belong to the majority groups. It wouldn’t matter to a person of colour if they were raised with the same idea of “giving them no reason to arrest you”. The police can and will come up with some bullshit excuse to try to incriminate their victim and victimize theirselves. It’s still going on today, and is an excuse for the riots going on right now in the US.

I’m not saying all policemen are corrupt, but there is a problem in the system with policemen of the majority picking on the minority or policemen of the minority getting picked on by some brats of the majority.
