Okay, I KNEW this was wrong the moment I saw the name “Hayao Miyazaki”. The creator of pokemon is Satoshi Tajiri. He’s rumored to have been dead because he was a victim of an earthquake, but that was a hoax.

Miyazaki had nothing to do with pokemon.
