Many, many trans people are “friends” with ignorant assholes like yourself because they don’t know how to say “You’re transphobic and offending me and making me uncomfortable and I don’t want to be around you anymore” or they literally KNOW they won’t find anyone better. because MOST of the world is transphobic and we learn to take the “accepting enough“ ones. Every single trans person has a transphobic friend, I promise.

You are not free of transphobia just because you are friends with trans people. Literally the fact that you use the term “trans” as a noun should tell people how ignorant you are. “Trans” is not a noun, it’s an adjective. That’s like calling black people “blacks.” It’s dehumanizing and offensive and rude, and most trans people are not okay with such terminology.

Trans friends are not a shield against being called out. I am a trans person. I said you were transphobic. Do NOT hide behind other trans people who are willing to stay friends with someone who thinks transphobia literally means “fear of trans people” after a trans person directly tells them otherwise. If a trans person is telling you you are being transphobic, you fucking figure out why they’re saying that and work to change.

Transphobia isn’t “being afraid of trans people.” And it’s not just refusing to give them jobs or murdering or raping them either, although that happens a lot. It’s saying things about them that are wrong or offensive, it’s saying things that directly hurt trans people, it’s saying things out of ignorance or that hinder the movement for equality, it’s attacking someone in a way that has to do with the fact that they are trans. Even miniscule things can be transphobia, and trans friends or not, you need to work to get rid of all of those things if you want to be a decent person. Otherwise, you’re just another transphobic trash heap.

Maybe because the original meaning of phobia is fear and that the internet is corrupt enough to change phobia into prejudice. It’s amazing how that works, twisting the origins and definitions of words. God forbid I actually try to be correct on something rather than use internet terms.

If they don’t like their body, then that’s their deal.

Racism will never end. On that note discrimination will never, ever, EVER end. It’s embedded in our history as human beings to hate constantly, and what you’re doing is no different. You're discriminating me, by calling me a “cis”. Yes, I know my 'about me’ tag mentions I’m cis. But would it mtter if I just said “biologically female”? No. Because it’s a more scientific way of using the internet’s shitty as pronoun 'cis’. Of course, you’re naturally discriminating against me for being 'cis’ while trying to justify you being trans? I am in no way attempting to oppress you. I never said anything negative about transpeople, and none of my actions, as far as I’m concerned, shows I’m in any way transphobic or transprejudice.
