Yeah someone points out every flaw in this pic you made and make it obvious what exactly is wrong with your character and yes that might make you feel a little embarrassed or angry but you wanna know something? Now you know what you need to fix. And once you fix it, it will be just that much better. No piece of art or story or anything will be perfect but they can always get better when people notice the tiny flaws.

Like the Doctor Whooves and Assistant radioplay. The one with smooze. Yes it was good but it wasn’t perfect and I can name one thing that could have made it slightly better. They could have had Ditzys dad bring a bit of smooze to the flyers competition in a jam jar rather than it just be mentioned briefly on a random pegasus.

Other than that one thing, it was pretty great but it would have been just a little bit better had they done something different.

The only thing Ive ever gotten out of unwanted criticism is basically anger, stress and the will to make it my own damn way even more due to the rudeness.

Unwanted criticism is never going to do any good. And you are more likely to get ignored and snapped at than to get the artist to realize their mistakes.

Its not necessary its plain rude. Assimilate that already.

You know what unwanted criticism did to me? The stress of it gave me IBS, and now every day I suffer with it. >:(

So no. Unwanted criticism does not help anyone. It certainly didn’t help me.

You can think whatever you like about a blog or an artist but telling them to their face what is wrong when they DON’T want to hear it is just plain rude.
