Hi drama-ers! Fire flighter here, and I replied to a previous post about flambebes, but I’m fairly certain most people don’t read post notes as much as I do, so I’m reposting it here. Hopefully if you’re sick of the flambebe trend, you’ll have tumblr savior’d the word already, and I’m not tagging this as FR, so if you’re reading it, it’s probably because you like drama anyways so I’m not really sure what more you want. .-.

Fun fact! I’m a pokemon nerd and this is where I got the name for the flambebe’s from originally.

The story of the Flambebes:

I don’t recall the reason, but one of our more prominent and awesome fire flighters pinged a bunch of people to a new thread. HOWEVER, because of the then-not-well-know glitch where pings in the first post redirect elsewheres, we were all sent to not the fire flight thread we were supposed to be, but a non-existent sales thread advertising “pretty faes and shiny tundras.”

Upon finding the correct thread, we all had a good laugh about that.

Not long later, a second really awesome fire flighter made a thread pinging flamecaller with this image alone as the OP:

You know, because flamecaller is our flamemom? Just quirky fun humor, and people responded in kind.

I drew a dumb reaction image that was supposed to be flamemom responding to the thread (because honestly, when’s the last time a deity actually responded on their own)

For shits and giggles, I added in some shiny tundras and pretty faes.

Shininess is not as important as how fluffy and f a t the blue one is.

A third awesome fire flighter took my dumb drawing and made it awesome.

And then the thread exploded out of control.

We started buying up tundras to name Flambebe, just as a continuation of the joke, and then everything got intense and there are over 200 flambebe/flamama/flambobos named on the site right now.
