I know so many people that do this - I guess us Canadians are messing with the flow of things.
I was taught to do this growing up by my Grammy cause it’s less messy and you don’t get sauce everywhere … .-. Woops. Although, I did live in a part of NY that was 5 minutes and a bridge away from Canada ^^^
They do this in all the Italian restaurants I’ve seen in America.
