Caution! Some blogs may have experienced some security break.

It didn’t show to me, but friends told me that my blog is automatically redirecting to some other suspicious website. (Other blogs are apparently doing it too.)

I checked my blog’s theme html and found the above line inserted close to the top in my html and I believe that is the cause.

Shortly afterwards tumblr stipped my theme of my blog and replaced it with the default theme and logged me out to make me reset my password for security.

To stay safe:

Check your blog’s theme html NOW. If you can find the line above or a similar one. Delete it immediately.

Change your password.

No matter if your theme html has been edited or not, back it up in a text file, especially if you made edits to it.
