Today I reported an entire gallery with ripped images from the game SKYRIM´s artbook. A few days ago a entire gallery of screenshots from the anime Sailor Moon.

I know it is perhaps a dumb thing to get mad over. But I am sick and pissed how the admins and moderators of Deviantart have the stomach to say : Do not sell copyrighted material! Or fanarts.

But in other hand refuse to deal with art theft, it is not their job apparently.

I believe it is because of two reason that they refuse to remove stolen art ;

1. To much work, clearly 10 people found the original creator within just minutes but you admins can´t.

2. Everybody else on the internet post art not made by them, so why should I care?

1 year ago I contacted a person on Pixiv.com because I saw her art on Deviantart. Due to somebody stole that persons art, I also asked the artist of she had a Deviantart page and she said no. But she did say : “I do not speak very good English so I can´t get my art removed, sorry!”

Maybe she was lazy , she could have used google translate. But still! How shall somebody who does not know English get their stuff removed?

Also, how come many other art websites who have way lesser crew can remove stolen art with 5 images as proof and a link to the creators website? But Deviantart call it : Not enough.

People go to jail for less proof… this is just dumb.

So yes, it is utter bullshit deviantart, stop holding up your hands and say: Not our problem, no proof ,not getting removed.

this happens so fucking often.

I remember reporting someone for stealing porn (pin ups of girls) and when I posted the site they said they wouldn’t ‘go through it’ to find the images which were stolen.

They then told me to stop contacting them about an ‘unimportant matter’.

Stolen porn is absolutely fine let me tell you.
