Except no. Megalapteryx is NOT a dinosaur. This is megalapteryx, commonly known as moa:

It was bird endemic to New Zealand and went extint around 1500 AD. That foot is held by the Museum of New Zealand Te Pappa Tongarewa located in Wellington. It was found in a cave on Mount Owen in the 1980’s.

Also how the fuck do you people imagine soft tissues surviving 65+ million years?!?!?

Technically yes. But by this logic I’m the owner of the best preserved dinosaur tissue. It was in my fridge all along!
