fun story one time at camp i caught one of the larva ones crawling around at night and id never seen them alive before ive always just seen the skins. I put it in a little bug cage and put it under my bed in the cabin and i woke the next morning to the most horrible noise ever because it had hatched in the middle of the night and was now screaming its dumb bug head off

i wasnt allowed to keep bugs in the cabin after that for obvious reasons
