This happens to my friends a lot!

holy hell i can hear the fuckin snark in my head omfg.

That is, I believe, known as a burn on you.

I like that the baby miraculously calmed down.  That should have been a sign to that woman to run to for the hills. 

My best friend recently gave birth to her 4th child.

The baby, born at exactly 10lbs and otherwise completely healthy, was found to have some sort of infection and had to stay in the hospital for a week on antibiotics before she could be released. My best friend was permitted to stay there because she was breast feeding.

Being stuck in the hospital, 40miles away from her other 3 kids, my best friend developed post postpartum depression. Nothing serious, but being isolated from the rest of her world for over a week after just giving birth did make things harder. I helped her out by coming to visit and staying the night with her there in the hospital.

While I was there I noticed this one nurse being a—for lack of a better word—gigantic flaming cuntosaurus.

This nurse’s idea of baby talk was to say things like “Oh you poor thing, mommy didn’t wrap you right!” and “Did mommy feed you wrong again?” Right in front of my friend. I was appalled.

I asked my friend (who was left in tears more than once because of the nurse) why she was letting that nurse continue to make backhanded comments and be overly critical of her like that. I mean, this was her fifth pregnancy and 4th child. By now we all knew that she totally had this.

"She thinks I’m a teen mom. I’m used to it."

Apparently, 3 years ago when she had her son (her 3rd child) at the age of 23, she got the exact same treatment at a different hospital. My friend is 26 years old, and she is used to all this negativity, people’s snap judgement and questioning her ability as a mother because she looks young.

And that’s goddamn fucking BULLSHIT.

Stop being critical of people you know absolutely nothing about. Especially if you’re not going to make any effort to get to know them. My friend was at the hospital for a week and this bitch nurse didn’t bother to open her file. Or have one simple conversation with her.

And FOR THE RECORD even if she or anyone else is a teen mom, do you really think that justifies BEING A RAGING FUCKING JUDGMENTAL CUNT to them?

My mom gave birth to my little brothers in 05, 06 and 08. That made me 9, 10 and 12. I’d go in to the store for my mom to get diapers or baby formula or baby food or snacks while she stayed in the car with my little brothers. The looks I got for carrying diapers and formula because I was 12 pissed me off. This one woman who i went to, to check out just looked at the items and back at me and scoffed. I was pissed. When I left I drop some money so I picked it up and I could hear the woman say to another costumer “This is why parents need to pay more attention to their children, that poor child is going to grow up and that girl won’t be able to take care of it. So I went to find a manager and explained to him that I was buying stuff for my mom who was in the car with my 3 little brothers and I haven’t seen that cashier since.
