I don’t think racism exists, not really.

Race is something we made up in our culture and race isn’t real so therefore racism can’t be real, it’s all in peoples heads because we are all the same. Same bodies…

you know what else society made up?

the concept of a group of people organizing masses of land in floating bodies of water down to very small groups of houses. i.e. government. the inner workings of government have been socially constructed because we have been reconstructing them for the past 2,000 years. we have reconstructed the meaning of “republic” “democracy” “monarchy” “kingdom” “democratic monarchy” “capitalism” “socialism” “communism”“oligarchy” “anarchy”, and a bunch of other ways in which we have organized the way a country has been run. technically the very small minutia of how our government works is a societal construction and not concrete. so the government shutting down in the past few days should not “really be a big deal”, right?

oh and those small pieces of paper you have in your pocket? you know those green things, or maybe they’re other colors if you live in other countries? money? it’s a piece of paper that was supposed to represent an amount of gold that people had in the bank at one time. At one time in our government, the price of silver/gold was directly tied to the price of the dollar (it still could be…it’s more global politics and international debts and international exchange rates probably). what is money directly tied to now? NOTHING! it is a fucking piece of paper with a number on it. but we use it for very abstract things-tax returns. health insurance. home owner bills. we earn concrete things WITH money. but the idea of money and the stock market, financial business, and IRS are all abstract, societal constructs as well. so clearly they must not impact people’s lives and must mean nothing and if i decide to give away all of my stocks, bonds, and every dime i have in the bank tomorrow it must not affect me because it’s a societal concept ergo it must not be real?

all societal constructed concepts are not real. that’s what we’re learning here in the school of tumblr. if society made it, people who suffer from the consequences are lying?

i guess i can really afford that DS and pokemon XY i don’t need money that’s just a construct whoop de doop de doo that’s in my head that’s just a construct of my mind that won’t end in problems whatsoever

I really don’t like the concepts of money and exchange :’D

Mostly because the people who have it, have the potential to misuse it.
