Seriously guys, wearing a war bonnet without having to suffer blood, sweat and tears for it is so disrespectful to all the servicemen who have sacrificed their lives for this country.

I think I already reblogged this once but Halloween season is drawing near and I’m sure there will be plenty of fuckwits who say they “appreciate” Native culture and “it’s just clothes” and “Natives wear jeans” and whatever other bullshit so SIGNAL BOOST. 

I honor these warriors every powwow, and nothing pisses me off more than watching them get dishonored by ignorant people treating a sacred headdress as nothing more than an accessory. Even those who are indigenous cannot wear one of these unless they’ve earn it!
