A lot of people are complaining that it’s just an Ampharos with hair. It’s a dragon type. Etc. Etc.

But there is a logical reason behind it, and it ticks me off when people diss something without knowing what it’s about or why it is the way it is. It’s not that hard to do a little research..

Anyways, the reason why it’s a dragon type is because, Ampharos’s japanese names is Denryu. One of it’s meanings is Electric Dragon. So there’s a very good explanation as to why it’s a dragon type.

Denryu is, naturally, an eastern dragon. And that’s why it has the mane and tail fluff/hair/fur. They wanted to make it look more like an eastern dragon, at least, this my logical reasoning for it.

I mean look, Eastern dragons almost ALWAYS have a long, furry mane and tail. I probably could find one that’s closer to what Ampharos has, but I don’t want to spend that much time just giving my reasoning.
