Before hitler fucked it over(you need to turn all frames 45° to achieve this and make sure the angles point in the right direction), the swastika was and still is a pure symbol of Zen Buddhism. In Hirosaki, Japan, there are swastikas everywhere. There has been before 1939. Their mascot has it(I need to draw their mascot again because omfg it is so fucking cute)
