Rough + flats.

Locks don’t usually display or communicate to each other through gestures and such in front of other races (with rare exceptions).  Kind of a huge ‘don’t do it if you don’t have to.’  

Nevertheless, some Leothin found out about the palms up gesture and spread the word and now it’s not uncommon for a Leothin to drop what it’s doing, sit down and put its arms up on those rare instances when one of the Locks guarding their system wanders by.  Occasionally they add other parts to their displays, things usually spawned from rumors.       

The guardian Locks don’t really get it, though they understand the intent well enough and I’m sure they appreciate the sentiment.
