Also, the reason you can get spooky results with Ouija Boards is because you’re unaware of everything you know. A 2012 study had people answer questions both verbally and with a Ouija Board. They were blindfolded and told they’d be using the board with another person, who removed their hands after beginning the experiment.

For the questions that people were unsure about, those who used a Ouija Board answered correctly 65% of the time, compared to 50% of the time when answering verbally. The researchers concluded that people have a ‘second intelligence’ buried in their subconscious that can only be accessed under certain conditions.

There’s a ghost behind you.

So if it’s a harmless game, then how come there are accounts of it releasing demons? HUM..

The human mind is capable of conjuring many things. Hallucinations, illusions, supernatural forces, fake memories, even scenes when stuck between life and death. It varies per person.

There’s always accounts of things like shadows, poltergeists, shape shifters, energy vampires, ghosts, spirits, demons, angels. There’s always a creep factor of children “talking” to these forces and animals staring or reacting at what we see as nothing.

But then you have the entertainment industry who takes this and uses it to gain profit with movies and shows.

The human mind itself is able to make something feel so real (especially seen with sleeping). But the mysterious scratch marks and “possessions” make it iffy for me. And there could be drugs involved, even if it isn’t reported. Hallucinogens are capable of clicking and sticking in one’s mind and they can stay that way if they handled the drug wrong or had too much.

This stuff is really up in the air for me because it’s stuck between reality and imagination. On one side, all you can be take is someone’s word for it. You can claim to have witnessed it yourself if you were there at the time it happened. On the other, how else can it be proven to those who weren’t there? Pictures? Having them stay a night or so?
