Okay so I understanding not liking being pings for someone trying to get rid of dragons, but what the fuck is the point in posting in a discussion forum/thread and then saying (or having in the sig) to not ping them?
In a discussion, the user is pinged to let them know of a reply to continue a conversation. It’s kind stupid to keep going on about not pinging if you’re going to drop in a discussion with a word or two and then leave and NOT expect a reply. Fucking dumbbells.
I know one user in particular who is famous for this. No names of course. But they will publicly flip shit if you ping them. Like you’re mortally offended their ancestors or something. Dude, it’s a ping, not the apocalypse.
Someone literally posted in a topic in the suggestions forum with their two cents and left and the OP of it pinged them to reply because it’s a discussion topic and all and the person they pinged got trigger happy and blocked OP about it. Like what the fuck is the point in having any discussion participation if you don’t want to get a reply to it?
