I hated it when it came out. I wasn’t terribly impressed with Vipera, either, but I hated hypnotic. I thought it would be like bar/daub- which did take a little while to grow on me, but now I quite like them. Still in ‘certain applications’, but that’s how I feel about a lot of genes.

But I still hate hypnotic. I can’t even tell you why, I just deeply dislike it, and think it’s the shittiest gene. I’d rather have nothing but Clown in my lair than have to keep one perm hypnotic dragon.

And now I hate it even more because on some breeds (tundra, fae), you can’t even have vip because the accents on wings or headfins are hypnotic. So fine 'avoid those breeds’ but I don’t feel I should have to avoid a primary to avoid a secondary gene. g;lkajef I just hate it. And I had to share. 

Top notch on Crystal making the browns and golds the most beautiful colors though. Please make glimmer do the same. My brown babies would look so beautiful.
