What makes me so sad about the N thing is how common it is. Not so much on FR (thankfully)- but just in general. People who think they know about something will just go off and tell you about how you should do something. “You should use the line tool to clean up your lines” “You shouldn’t use that program for your kind of art” “You should charge prices more like X” “Your style doesn’t fit what you draw” and whole hosts of other terrible things. :\ It’s not ‘constructive criticism’ if no one asked for it, and often times it hurts the artist more than it helps.

I’m not talking about in places where posting criticism is warranted/wanted/requested- I’m talking about IN the artists’ shops BEFORE anyone has placed an order. Specifically.

What N did was terrible, and thankfully not very common for FR. I hope this kind of fallout keeps it that way. :\ Please, people, protect your artists. And also a shout-out to the 1st artist in that post. I did manage to track you down. I hope the random gifts were enough. :( You have amazing art.
