Imagine this.

You work at a movie theater. You’re the box office cashier on shift. Someone comes up and asks for two tickets to Poltergeist. You repeat back to them “Two tickets to Poultrygeist?“ 

You immediately realize your mistake as soon as the word leaves your mouth. The customer is giving you a confused look. You laugh it off, trying to hide your shame.

This movie is going to be playing at your theater for another few weeks. You can only pray that this doesn’t happen again.
