WHY “HIPPOCAMPUS”? I’m ten days late because I never really looked at the names of the newest familiars, but hippocampus. I UNDERSTAND THAT SEAHORSES LOOK LIKE THE HUMAN HIPPOCAMPUS, BUT I AM NOW FOREVER IMAGINING MY DRAGONS FIGHTING AN OVERSIZED, PIECE OF BRAIN MEAT.
WHAT’S NEXT? NAMING A SLUG-LIKE CREATURE “GLUTEUS MAXIMUS? AND ITS COUNTERPART “GLUTEUS MINIMUS”?
ps: gluteus maximus and minimus are main butt and small butt respectively
pps: i have nothing against “hippocampus” as a name–it’s just funny
