There are a lot of cool Steven Universe theories out there, and such is the nature of Tumblr that all but the most obsessive tag-prowlers must be missing out on a lot of them! For that reason I’m collecting my favourites here in the hope that others will add their favourites.

I can’t find any of the pre-reveal “Garnet is a fusion” posts; if anybody has links, could they add those please?

• Rose Quartz is the false name of Rose Diamond, Gem royalty (also includes some nice notes on the star/diamond/triangle symbology and the possibility of a Green Diamond)
• There have been two previous Gem Wars (also includes a really good timeline and an incredibly well-reasoned argument for the fate of the Crystal Gems’ other allies and some of their enemies)
• Lars is trans
• Rose having Steven was not just a whim of love, but part of a strategy to help Earth defend itself from future Gem attacks
