I wish this was a feature of the site. I have for a very long time.

Granted, as you get new messages of different types, it would have to change colors to whatever was the most recent.
And it would be best if the little dropdown notice had the information in the respective colors to show you what you’ve gotten.

• Subject Liked: Simple notice that something has been liked. The oldest players remember when there were “like” buttons on forum posts. I’m pretty sure we’d all love to have that back.
  I would also really enjoy being able to “like” player’s dragons.
• Profile Comment: Strictly that.
• Forum Ping: Because don’t we get frustrated when we think it’s anything else and turns out not to be? lol
• Dominance Alert: We’d probably like to have this back…and to be able to see the difference.
• AH/Incoming funds: Be honest, aren’t we are all sick and tired of being let down by expired auctions? Let’s find out with a happy color when a message contains some well-earned funds.
  (Expired auctions can just stay orange.)
• Staff Notification: “Your Tidal Trouble puzzle was accepted.” (My what?) “Your accents are in!” “Rhea, stop being a pain in our ass.”
