Otherkin delusions

I was reading up on otherkins because they seemed just as ridiculous and irrational in their beliefs as most theists are, and I came upon this. It’s actually a medical condition.

Clinical lycanthropy is defined as a rare psychiatric syndrome that involves a delusion that the affected person can transform into, has transformed into, or is a non-human animal.

Guys, no matter how deliberately you believe, or want, something to be true, it doesn’t just become true. And personal beliefs are as valid as personal chemistry, or personal physics.

Please try to be rooted in the real world. I love Pokemon and Naruto and Final Fantasy and D&D and MLP probably more than anyone else here, but I don’t try to delude myself by thinking I’m “spiritually” not human, because that is not reality. Whatever spiritual even means.
