imagine: a court system where you do not know the gender, race, sexual orientation, wealth, name, ect. of the person being charged
think of how different the punishments would be
this is such a good idea though like think of how unbiased the judgement of the jury would be? i honestly dont understand why no ones ever thought of this before i mean why do the jury even need to see the criminal anyway, they’re judging the person on their actions not their appearance.
So I noticed this on one of my last viewings of The Prince of Egypt and I absolutely love it. I wanted to take some screenshots to show you, because this is really cool.
During the “When You Believe” sequence, you see these two Egyptian guards throw down their spears and walk off, seemingly nowhere.
But if you watch the background during the following Red Sea scenes, you see this:
Those two guards actually went with the Hebrews.
You even see them helping out as they try to cross the ocean floor.
And here they are on the other side.
I seriously never noticed them until recently, and I’ve seen this movie countless times.
Not only did these background characters get shown abandoning their role as soldiers, the very ones who probably directly oppressed these people, but the animators continued to place them in the shots during the Red Sea sequence. Meaning they were meant to be there. I just think that’s really really freaking cool.
It’s accurate too, Exodus says that some Egyptians followed them and were adopted into the Israelite people.

Well, I’m watching the same madness unfold like everyone else. Just like all these other untimely police deaths, I believe it’s important to let the truth come out before we rush to react. Here’s what we do know:
Freddie Gray
Freddie Gray was hardly a beacon of society. That being said, I don’t believe he deserved to die in police custody.
How he died is still under investigation although the preliminary autopsy showed he did have a severe spinal injury and crushed larynx but no other bodily injury.
Police record shows that Gray was arrested on the morning of April 12, 2015 after fleeing unprovoked from bicycle officers. He was placed under arrest “without force or incident” for fleeing and was only found to have a switchblade in his possession. Why he fled from police is still a mystery.
Amateur video shows Gray being drug consciously into a police van. CNN also aired footage of the arrest. I must repeat, the autopsy showed no broken legs despite the bystanders yelling in the video. The autopsy also does not corroborate one bystander’s testimony that Gray was beaten with batons or another stating he was tased.
Gray supposedly requested his asthma inhaler but was denied. While in transport, the police van had to stop because Gray was acting irate. Police put him in leg shackles to restrain him. He was also allegedly not seat-belted in the van.
After making another few other stops over the span of 30 minutes, Gray was found unresponsive in the van at the station. Paramedics responded and treated Gray before taking him to Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he fell into a coma and died a week later.
The six police officers involved in the arrest have all been put on paid suspension until the investigation is complete. No one has been indicted.
So, we should hear more details hopefully in the investigation on whether the officers were culpable in some way for Gray’s death either during the arrest or during the transport. Either way, it is a tragedy a man was cut down so early in his life.
But does this untimely death justify this:
or this:
Of course not.
This is just more of the same rabble-rousers and thugs (both local and from out of the area) coming in and taking advantage of the situation…even openly stating they will kill people on live television. Don’t forget, this whole thing started with high school kids invoking riots through “Purge” themed memes on social media. They started the entire thing at the Mondawmin Mall on the day of Gray’s funeral and it quickly escalated to what we saw last night. It’s all an excuse to be lawless and to loot. Gray is just the martyr they need to excuse their unlawful behavior. This is not some noble resistance against police brutality or a “police state.” The United States is not a police state.
I remember this neighborhood. I drove through there when going to Orioles games as a kid. It was bad then too. Do you know what these places like Missouri and Baltimore do all have in common? They’ve been run by Democrats for the last several decades. This dunce they have in office in Baltimore isn’t making things any better either.
But don’t worry Al Sharpton is headed there right now to make everything better…
